Arno Steez is an Ivorian born Artist/Producer based in South Africa since 2013. He started his music career on the streets of Port Elizabeth, producing for a lot of local acts such as Zani Sizani, Try again, Eezythadon, Lwaistar, etc. His music influences are African legends such as Youss N’dour, Sarkodie, AKA, Cassper Nyovest, Magic system, Angelique Kidjo; but also artists such as Tupac, Eminem, Jay-z, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and Bryston Tiller. Arno Steez’s music is pretty original in the sense that his versatility as an artist helped him mix different music genres, African & international sounds to create something totally new to the ear. In 2017 he dropped his first EP called “Faces” which was set to be one the best project to ever come out of the Eastern Cape, earning co-signs from National acts such as Tellaman, Tshego, Dream Team and ending up number one with his club banger “On The Way” on the radio show hosted by famous DJ Ms Cosmo on 5FM. Arno went on to release a couple more singles throughout 2018, such as; “Potential”, “Issokay” and “I Might’, his street anthem, featuring his long-time friend and talented artist, Nito Hush, is set to be one of the biggest songs in the country. The impressive visuals for the single made it to TV channels such as Channel O and MTV. On the 10th of July, he released his long-awaited mixtape “In The Interest Of Time” which is yet to make rounds in the country!!
